What to do with my dog?
He is 3 yo sheltie. Has started grabbing anything from the counter / table and ate them with our 16 yo lab. I went out for an hr n came home seeing they hv got to the table n ate 4 pkts of instant noodles.
He is becoming more uncontrollable ... always looking for stuffs when no one is at home. We hv never had dogs that behave this way.
They are loving dogs but their behavior is unacceptable. What wld you do?

I have a VERY large dog who would open up all the cupboards and take out canned food and chew on the cans until there were holes punched into them. He also enjoyed raiding my refrigerator and would take all of the food out! I actually had to tape it shut with duct tape!
To prevent them from taking food off of your table and counters,don't leave any food laying around unattended! To prevent them from getting into your lower cupboards, if you have food in them, you need to get child safety latches for your cupboards!
To prevent this sort of behavior, make certain you leave plenty of food for them when you are away from your home!
