Yesterday my friends went out to lunch and almost ran over a set of puppies. As puppies they were just playing and running on the middle of the busy mid-day street. My friends immediately got out of the car and rescued both puppies and took them to the nearest police station and contacted the Animal Rescue League. In the meantime, the owners had called the police station and they were told the puppies were there awaiting them. If it wasn’t for my friends these puppies would’ve been in a serious accident.
The owners admitted to not having the house fenced in. It’s really necessary to have your home fenced especially if you have small children or pets. Not only the fences add a nice touch to your home, but they can also save lives and add protection to your home.

I actually just found that there’s a sexual offender who lives right across from Rachel’s house. Now that she’s going to be having her first baby it really is scary to know that there’s someone who has such a history of crime and lives so close to her. It’s amazing the fact that she’s interacted with this person and all this time he’s been arrested and charged for sexual misconduct.

Slim-Fast
I been very hectic these past few weeks and asked my doctor if Slim-Fast would really work as a substitute to breakfast like the commercials say. It was interesting to find out that you can actually receive all the nutrition you need to start the day off by having a shake for breakfast and maybe some fruit along with it. I really didn’t think it to be a good source of nutrients, but my doctor mentioned the great amount of protein in the shakes and that I would have all the energy I need to begin the day.
So now I begin my days with the Slim-Fast shake. It’s so easy, all I have to do is crack that can open and be on my way. I never was a breakfast person to tell you the truth, but now I’m being better especially with the calcium since the Slim-Fast also has the calcium I need.

Maternity and Baby shopping
So my little Rachel is having her first baby. She’s already over 13 weeks and we’re so excited to begin all the preparations for her baby’s room.
I’m absolutely ecstatic because I’ve seen so many cute maternity and baby stuff. It’s so amazing to me because things have definitely changed from when I was pregnant and had my girls. It’s definitely going to be so much fun buying the baby’s room décor, clothes, furniture, crib bedding and of course the little ones toys.

I recently had to put my calico cat Beauty down because she had pulmonary and stomach issues. It was the most difficult decision I’ve had to make in a long time. Beauty has been with the family for 8 years and to not have her around has been very depressing for the family and also for our other cat Ivy. She too has shown signs of depression.
